HoraShastra
Once sitting at a sacred place in the Himalayas, sage Maitreya asked sage Parashara.
Maitreya Said: – Oh divine one! As you have revealed Smriti for the benefit of mankind in Kaliyuga, likewise, please describe the extraordinary HoraShastra from the Triskanda Jyotisha.
As you are among great Astrologers, please tell me How this creation comes into existence? How does it continue to stay and How it dissolves at the end?
What is the relationship between planets moving in the sky and beings living on earth? What makes the predictions of astrologers as true happenings?
Parashara said: – Oh Sage! You asked this question for the benefit of mankind. Therefore, remembering Surya (Sun God), I will reveal the mystery of Astrology as it was revealed by Brahmaaji. This science is also known as VedaNayana (Eyes of Vedas).
